Chocolate covered strawberry coffee milkshake

Strawberries and cream and coffee? The answer is most definitely yes!!! The combination of strawberries, ice cream, and coffee may seem unexpected, but the result is an explosion of flavor! It's sweet and velvety with a burst of berry freshness. What's more, adding dark chocolate to the mix enhances both the tanginess of the berries and the richness of the coffee. One sip of this strawberry treat will make your taste buds sing!

Fantastic frappes!

The earliest coffee frappe is said to have been created by Nescafé in Greece. The Vigorous shaking of instant coffee with ice, water or milk, and sugar resulted in a refreshing and surprisingly popular concoction. Over the years recipes have evolved to include many interesting and scrumptious variants of flavors, sweetness, techniques, and names. While the proper pronunciation of the name (FRAP or FRAP-PAY) varies by region, individual and seller one thing is certain this blended iced beverage is decidedly delicious! Here I present three unique takes on the classic frappe. Enjoy!

Iced salted honey-spice latte

As you may have surmised honey is one of my favorite coffee additives. Having known health benefits and natural sweetness it is, in my opinion, the best alternative to sugar for your sweetened coffee drinks. This recipe is a great alternative to the popular iced caramel latte. Sweet and flavorful, this drink is sure to have you coming back for more. Enjoy!

Cherry vanilla coffee shake

The availability, at the local fresh fruit market, of the most succulent cherries I have ever seen is the inspiration for this beautiful and delicious cherry vanilla coffee shake. Of course, if you can't find fresh cherries, the frozen variety will substitute nicely. Enjoy!

Coffee bourbon milkshake

The summertime temperatures are still raging. Why not try a scrumptious coffee milkshake prepared specially for all of you bourbon lovers out there? It will undoubtedly help cool you off while the heat is most definitely still on. Enjoy!

Apricot vanilla frappe

Iced and blended with a touch of apricot and vanilla, this frappe is sure to chill you out on those hot-hot summer days! Today I am using Organically Grown Peru Dark Roast coffee for my frappe. The subtle apricot and vanilla tones of the coffee perfectly compliment the home-made apricot syrup. Best of all this coffee is Smithsonian Certified shade-grown and Bird Friendly. It is also a featured single-origin for August 2019 at TheQueenBean.com. To learn more about this wonderful bean click here. Luscious lavender latte

Few things soothe the senses like the aroma of lavender. When added to your coffee it infuses the brew with a subtle spicy, rosemary mintiness. Gentle waves of lavender will surround you when you sip on this homemade lavender latte -- a perfect, relaxing way to end a meal or start your day.
