Hot (or cold) buttered yum! A Coffee & Cocktails with Cindy short

This is the first of three coffee cocktails made with TheQueenBean.com buttered rum coffee. Buttered rum is usually associated with hot comforting drinks, cool weather, and the holiday season. Here is proof positive that it is just as tasty when chilled! These cocktails make me think of hot Jamaican days (and nights) on the beach. The perfect holiday – regardless of season!

First up: Hot buttered yum

What you will need

1 oz. Spiced rum

1 cup TheQueenBean.com Buttered Rum coffee

1 oz.  Honey

Spicy whipped creme*

•  Pour the rum & honey in a preheated glass.

•  Add hot buttered rum coffee until the glass is about 90% full.

•  Top with the spicy whipped cream


Cold buttered yum

What you will need

Spicy creme*

1  – 3 oz. Spiced rum ( adjust to your taste I use 1.5 oz, but if you like it stronger, go for it!)

1 cup Buttered Rum coffee from TheQueenBean.com

1 cup milk

1 oz. honey

A blender 1/4 of the way filled with ice

• Combine milk, rum honey and coffee in your blender.

• Once blended top with spicy cream and enjoy!


*Spicy whipped cream:

1 cup heavy cream

2 tbsp. dark brown sugar

1/4 tsp. nutmeg

1/8 tsp. cloves

A pinch of salt

¼ tsp cinnamon sugar

** Add Confectioners sugar (by taste if needed)
