The earliest coffee frappe is said to have been created by Nescafé in Greece. The Vigorous shaking of instant coffee with ice, water or milk, and sugar resulted in a refreshing and surprisingly popular concoction. Over the years recipes have evolved to include many interesting and scrumptious variants of flavors, sweetness, techniques, and names.
