Rose coffee recipe!

This lovely coffee is light, smooth, fragrant, and the absolute perfect compliment to a beautiful summer day. With gentle rose tones and slight hint of spice, this easy rose coffee recipe may soon become your go-to summer drink.

Step 1: Add 1 teaspoon of honey and 1 generous squeeze of lemon to an 8-ounce cup.

Step 2: Brew your coffee. If you enjoy a heavier, richer coffee, use either two shots of espresso or a French or Espresso blend brewed in either a French press or stove top espresso brewer. If you enjoy a lighter cup, use a non-berry toned medium roast brewed with a drip or pour-over machine. For testing, we used espresso shots, French Roast brewed in a Moka Pot, and Mills Blend brewed in a pour-over.

Step 3: Add the following to a small saucepan:

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon rose water
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom
  • (optional) a drop of red or pink food coloring

Step 4: Over low heat, whisk and warm the milk mixture until small bubbles form along the edge of the pan. Remove the pan from the heat. (This should take about 2 minutes.)

Step 5: (optional) Using an electric or hand frother, froth the milk.

Step 6: Fill your mug 3/4 the way with coffee and stir or whisk to ensure the honey and lemon are fully dissolved in the coffee.

Step 7: Top your coffee with the rose milk mixture.

Step 8: Enjoy!
