Coffee & Cocktails — anyone for ice cream?

I’m not ready to say goodbye to summer yet. I need one last lazy day, one more rock in the hammock, and at least one more ice cream drink. For those of you who feel the way I do, here are three ice cream cocktails that will help keep you living in the sunny time spirit just a little bit longer.

6b794-affogato2This Affogato’s on Fire

A play on a classic affogato:
2 small scoops vanilla ice cream
1.5 oz. (about 3 tbsp.)of  TheQueenBean.com Belgian chocolate coffee
  (espresso grind/brewed in a stove-top espresso maker)
A swipe of dark chocolate sauce

1 oz. of cinnamon whiskey

Scoop the ice cream into a large glass or cup.
Add the whiskey and pour in the espresso.
Swirl on the chocolate sauce, put on some Alicia Keys
and have at it!

Muddy Queenslide

A coffee based mudslide:
2 oz. vodka
1 x-large scoop of vanilla ice cream
2  extravagant swirls of chocolate sauce
½ blender of ice
Combine all ingredients in the blender,
pour it into your glass of choice and garnish with
some whipped cream and a strawberry
serves 2 (at least)
Then…..

This is what I would drink at The Mermaid Parade!
2 scoops chocolate ice cream
2 oz. vodka
2 oz. club soda
1 swirl chocolate sauce
½ blender with ice
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend,
garnish with  some whipped cream and a cherry!
Serves 2 (at least).
I recommend drinking this in your left hand, while giving your best beauty queen wave with the right!

I hope these coffee cocktails cool you off during the dog days (who am I kidding I’d drink them anytime)! Be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel  and catch the next episode of Coffee & Cocktails with Cindy !
Until next time
XOXO
Cindy
