For all coffee-guzzling gardeners out there, save your grounds! Coffee grounds are a wonderful supplement to organic fertilizers. They release nitrogen, a natural fertilizer, into the soil, attract earthworms, keep pests away, and increase natural drainage. You can either scatter the grounds directly onto the ground or mix them into your fertilizer.
Grounds also are a wonderful supplement for natural compost, again due to the added nitrogen and extra earthworks.
