This rich, spicy, and delicately sweet latte made with white chocolate, chai, and marshmallow is sure to warm you up, wake you up, and like its namesake… help you prepare for all and any adventures that lie ahead. As an added bonus, the White Walker is also packed with immune-boosting antioxidants to fend off pesty autumn colds. This recipe makes four eight-ounce or two sixteen-ounce lattes. Hope you enjoy it!
Step 1: Add the following to an empty coffee pot or French press carafe.
- 20 grams of crushed or finely chopped white chocolate (roughly 1/8th of a cup)
- 10 grams of marshmallows (roughly 10 small or 2 large marshmallows)
- 1/4th teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8th teaspoon clove
- 1/8th teaspoon ginger
- 2 shakes of black pepper
- (Optional)1 tablespoon brown sugar
Step 2: Brew thirty-two ounces of coffee (one eight-cup pot) into the bowl or carafe containing the spices. For added white chocolate vanilla chai aroma, try White Walker Coffee.
Step 3: Once fully brewed, swirl the pot or carafe to ensure the coffee, spices, and chocolate are well-mixed. If any white chocolate chucks or marshmallows are visible, use a small whisk or spoon to break them down.
Step 4: Froth and / or steam one cup of milk. To sweeten the milk, toss a few white chocolate pieces into the milk before warming and frothing it.
Step 5: Pour the coffee into the mugs until three-quarters full and then add the steamed milk.
Step 6: (Optional) Top your latte off a dollop of whipped cream, a sprinkle of cinnamon, and / or mini white chocolate shards.
Step 7: Enjoy!
