Snickerdoodle latte

The snickerdoodle cookie is a perennial crowd-pleaser. For me, it will always evoke nostalgic childhood memories of baking with my mother.  This recipe delivers that fresh from the oven snickerdoodle flavor in a luscious latte. Enjoy!

Step 1: Froth together 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract. 1/2 tbsp. brown sugar, a dash of salt, and 6 oz. of milk. You can use either a hand or electric frother or your stovetop. Set the milk mixture aside.

Step 2: Add 2 tsps. cinnamon syrup* and a 1/2 tbsp. brown sugar to a preheated mug. Using a spoon to prevent the frothed milk from slipping in, pour half the milk mixture into your mug.

Step 3: Add a freshly brewed doppio (double) espresso or strongly brewed coffee to your mug until the mug is approximately 90% full. Use a cinnamon stick to stir the contents of your mug.

Step 4: Pour or scoop the remaining frothed milk into your mug.

Step 5: Sprinkle your latte with cinnamon sugar and garnish with a cinnamon stick.

Step 6: Enjoy!
