Few things capture the flavor of the holidays like gingerbread with its warm, spicy molasses and sweet, winter-perfect spices. This easy, delicious gingerbread latte recipe only takes minutes to prepare and only minutes to drink … (hint) you may want to make two!

Step 1: Add the following to a saucepan and warm over low heat, stirring constantly until well blended and warm to the touch:

  • 1/4 cup of milk or cream
  • 1 tablespoon molasses
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground clove

Step 2: Once well-blended, transfer the spicy milk mixture to a 12-ounce mug or two 6-ounce mugs.

Step 3: Add freshly brewed coffee to your mug until your mug(s) is 80% full.

Step 4: Add additional milk / cream to taste (this can be warm or cool milk). If you are heating the milk, heat it until it is warm to the touch. You can also froth the milk before adding it to the coffee to create additional texture.

Step 5: Top with whipped cream and a sprinkling of cinnamon and clove.

Step 6: Enjoy!

For additional flavor, try using Ginger Cookie coffee or adding a pinch of DaVinci’s Gingerbread syrup to your mug before adding the coffee.
