Sugar and butter and… everything good! If you love the sweet, rich taste of English toffee, this simple toffee coffee recipe is sure to have you smiling.
Step 1: Add the following to a 12-ounce mug:
- 1 tablespoon salted butter OR 1 tablespoon unsalted butter plus salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- (optional) 1/8 teaspoon almond powder
- (optional) 1/8 teaspoon chocolate syrup
Step 2: Add 8-ounces of coffee to your mug and mix well. If you enjoy flavored coffee, try using Toffee Coffee.
Step 3: Add 1/2 cup milk to your mug. If you are heating the milk, heat it until it is warm to the touch. You can also froth the milk before adding it to the coffee to create additional texture.
Step 4: Top with whipped cream and toffee and / or chocolate syrup.
